Alumni

Alumni Association:

To create better professional bridge, the Department has “Alumni Association” of past students of the Department. Its objective is to share their real life professional experience not only with each other but to enact as an important vehicle to guide our future professionals and present students. At present there are 125 patron and life members in the association. Whatever reasons, the Executive Committee of Alumni Associate does not organize meeting since long period.

The Sardar Patel University has been organizing Alumni Meet well-known as Sandhaan since last two consecutive years (2024 and 2025). The Department of Library and Information Science also showed keen interest to organize meeting at Department during the Sandhaan. The first Sandhaan – 2024 Alumni Meet was organized on 21 January 2024 and the second Sandhaan – 2024 Alumni Meet was organized on 23 February 2025. Many alumni participated in the both Alumni Meets.
