⇒About the Meet

To keep pace with the fast changing research scenario at the national and international level, there is a need for sensitization of the research students about various aspects of multi and interdisciplinary research With this motive, the university has initiated to organize the annual Research Scholars’ Meet from the year 2022 This is the fourth edition of the MEET Every year Research Scholars’ Meet is organized by the research students of Sardar Patel University It will provide a unique platform to research students of diverse disciplines to interact and broaden the horizons of their knowledge It is also a rare opportunity for doctoral students of science to build bridges for cross disciplinary research.

We welcome all the researchers to join us for this multidisciplinary event for stimulating discussions and knowledge sharing on the different research topics and themes:

  • Theme 1 Fundamental Advances and Emerging Scientific Frontiers
    Experimental, theoretical and computational advances in science Novel methodologies, tools and analytical techniques Discovery driven research shaping future technologies.
  • Theme 2 Innovation Led Science for Sustainability and National Development Scientific solutions addressing energy, environment and resources Climate resilience, circular economy and sustainable technologies Science driven contributions toward national development goals.
  • Theme 3 Data Driven, Computational and Intelligent Research Systems
    Mathematical, statistical and computational modelling of complex systems Artificial intelligence, machine learning and scientific data analytics Digital transformation of research and innovation ecosystems.
  • Theme 4 Translational Science, Health, and Societal Well Being
    Scientific innovations in healthcare, diagnostics and therapeutics Materials, systems and technologies for improving quality of life Safety, regulation and responsible scientific advancements.
  • Theme 5 Interdisciplinary Research, Convergence and Future Horizons
    Integration across scientific domains for complex problem solving Laboratory to application and academia to industry translation Visionary and interdisciplinary approaches for future societal needs.

  • Theme 2: Economic Development, Public Policy, and Governance
    Economic growth, development planning, and policy analysis. Public finance, regional development, institutional reforms, governance mechanisms and rural economy.
  • Theme 3: Innovations in Education: IKS, AI, and Multidisciplinary Approaches
    IKS, AI in Education, Multidisciplinary Approaches, Education Policy and NEP, Innovative & digital Pedagogy, Assessment, Teacher Education, Inclusive Education.
  • Theme 4: Law, Justice, and Regulatory Frameworks
    Legal systems, constitutional values, and access to justice. Regulatory policies, human rights, ethics, and socio-legal studies.
  • Theme 5: Library, Information Science, and Knowledge Management
    Information organization, digital libraries, and knowledge dissemination. Information technology, research support systems, scholarly communication, AI & Research.
  • Theme 6: Social Work, Social Inclusion, and Community Development
    Social welfare, community engagement, and development interventions. Equity, gender, marginalized groups, social well-being, ESG and Indian Diaspora.

  • Theme 1: NEP 2020, Indian Knowledge System and Humanities and Social Sciences:
    This theme examines the transformative vision of NEP 2020 alongside the integration of the Indian Knowledge System within the Humanities and Social Sciences.
  • Theme 2: Digital Humanities
    This theme invites interdisciplinary engagement with digital archives, text analysis, data visualisation, digital pedagogy, and emerging methodologies that reshape knowledge production, interpretation, and dissemination in the humanities.
  • Theme 3: Indian Languages and Linguistics:
    This theme examines interdisciplinary research on language policy, multilingualism, translation, language documentation, language technology, and the role of Indian languages.
  • Theme 4: Indian Literatures across Regional and English Languages:
    Translation and Adaptation: This theme explores interdisciplinary research on literary circulation, translation and adaptation practices, cultural negotiation and reception.
  • Theme 5: Gender, Diaspora, Janjatiya, and Divyangjan Studies:
    This theme studies interdisciplinary research on gender, diaspora, Janjatiya (indigenous) communities, and Divyangjan.
  • Theme 6: History, Heritage, Community, and Social Change:
    It invites interdisciplinary inquiry into how cultural memory, traditions, and social structures have shaped societies across time and continue to influence contemporary identities and transformations.
  • Theme 7: Mental Health and Future Readiness:
    Personal Development Pathways towards India @ 2047: It invites interdisciplinary perspectives on education, psychology, society, and policy to explore strategies for nurturing emotionally balanced, skilled, and future-ready citizens.
  • Theme 8: Digital Democracy and Authoritarianism:
    This theme studies the role of digital platforms and social media in shaping political discourse, voter behaviour, disinformation campaigns, political polarisation, and state surveillance.
