Seven Day Workshop

ADVANCED ANALYTICAL TECHNIQUES

(Synergistic Training Programme Utilizing the Scientific and Technological Infrastructure)

The Biosciences Department of Sardar Patel University Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Anand, Gujarat commenced a week-long training session on the DST-FIST-supported “Advanced Analytical Techniques” on its campus today. About 35 faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, and doctoral students from around the country participated in this training workshop, which will run until September 25, 2022.
The event is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), under STUTI (Synergistic Training Program Utilizing the Scientific and Technological Infrastructure) program, in which IIT Gandhinagar IIT Gandhinagar is identified as a Project Management Unit (PMU).
Apart from the theoretical knowledge, the workshop aims to provide practical hands-on experience to the participants through a laboratory session where the characterization of samples and operation of instruments will be demonstrated to create awareness among the participants.
