M.Sc. Degree: M.Sc. (Materials Science) & M.Sc. (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) are four semester integrated interdisciplinary courses of lectures, practicals and project work. The topics covered are:
- Basic Aspects of Physics, Chemistry, Computers and Engineering Relevent to
- Studies of Materials
- Processing of Materials: Ceramics, Metals, Polymers, Composites, Thin Films, etc.
- Basic Concepts of Nano Science and Nano Technology
- Properties of Different Materials, Testing and Characterization using Different Techniques
- Applications of Materials
- Processing, Characterization and Applications of Nanomaterials
- Environmental Aspects of Materials
- Practical training on Analytic and Characterization equipments including Thermal systems, SEM, BET, UTM, Tribometer, FTIR, UV etc.
