FROM THE DESK OF THE HEAD OF THE HOME SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

The Post Graduate Department of Home Science was started in June 1977. Six different postgraduate courses in Home Science which include Foods and Nutrition, General Home Science, Food Biotechnology, Textiles and Clothing, Human development and Family Resource Management were being offered. Currently, Foods and Nutrition, General Home Science and Food Biotechnology are being offered. Doctorate degrees are offered in Foods and Nutrition, Food Biotechnology and Textiles and Clothing.
