Infrastructure facilities
The department  housed in the first and second floors  of the building has the following infrastructure.

(c)     Six teachers' Cabin: Four in  Second Floor and two in third floor.
(d)     Reading Room for students.*
(e)     Ladies Common Room *
(f)      Research Scholars' Room *
(g)     Staff Tea room *
(h)     Library cum Assembly Hall *
(i)       Late.Prof.S.M.Shah Statistical Laboratory.
(j)       Attendants' Room.*
(k)     Toilet Blocks (ladies and gents) *

*common facilities shared with the Department of Mathematics.

Equipments :
(a)IT Infrastructure

The department established a well furnished computer laboratory as  Late Prof.S.M.Shah Statistical Laboratory, with the help of generous donation of Rs. 1.7 lacs by the daughters of Late Prof.S.M.Shah, Ex Head of the department.

The department has following IT related facilities.

Computers and Printers:

22 computers, 4 printers (one of them is Laser printer)

MATLAB 5.1
FORTRAN 5.1
LOTUS 1.2.3
VISUAL BASIC 3.0
MICROSOFT  WINDOW 3.0.

The department has INTERNET connection. This facility is used extensively by    faculty members and students.
