Course Description
M.A / M.Sc. (two year course)
Eligibility :
A candidate possessing a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Arts with at least 40% marks (at third year) in theory papers in external examination and has offered Statistics as Principal subject.
OR
He/She has offered Statistics as a subsidiary subject.
OR
He/She has offered Statistics as one of the subjects in B.Sc. or/and B.A.(General).

Part I : 4 theory courses ( 100 X 4 = 400 marks) + 2 practical courses (100 X 2 = 200 marks) + viva voce ( 50 marks).
Part II : 4 theory courses ( 100 X 4 = 400 marks) + 1 practical courses (100 marks) + project work (100 marks) + viva voce ( 50 marks). Total evaluation is out of 1300 marks.
M.Phil (full time & part time) (Click Here For detail) Full time course – 1 year duration 3 courses (100 X 3 = 300 marks) + Dissertation (100 marks) + viva voce (50 marks).
Total evaluation is out of 450 marks. Part time course – 2 years duration First Year :
2 theory courses ( 100 X 2 = 200 marks)
Second Year : 1 theory course ( 100 marks) + Dissertation (100 marks) + viva voce ( 50 marks). Total evaluation is out of 450 marks.
Eligibility : A second class master’s degree with Statistics in Science or Arts in theory papers in external examinations.
Ph.D. (full time & part time) Eligibility :
A second class Master’s Degree with Statistics in Science or Arts in theory papers in external examination.
