      BHATT, M. B.

[ is the Uniformly Minimum Variance Unbiased (UMVU) estimator,   is Maximum Likelihood Estimator of g, is an U-estimable   differentiable   parametic   function ]

Ph.D. Work :

Explicit expression for   derived for two-truncation parameter family of distributions.  of probability density function (pdf) with exact variance obtained and results applied to Exponential and Uniform distribution. Shortest length confidence interval for pdf obtained and table for their multipier for some value of sample size.

General expression of   derived for two-truncation parameter family of distributions for type-II censored data.   of pdf with exact variance obtained and results applied to Exponential, Uniform distribution and Beta type-I distribution. Shortest length confidence interval for pdf obtained and table for their multipier for some value of sample size and censored point are computed

  Two Sample Problem

One and two-truncation parameter family of distribtions studied and Explicit expression  of   derived for uncensored and type-II censored data. The UMVU estimator of pdf with exact variance and illustrative example discuss for two Exponential and Uniform distribution. The UMVU estimator of reliability funcational, P[X≥Y]also studied. Shortest length confidence interval for pdf obtained

Two two-truncation parameter families of distribtions consider for ucensored and doubly type-II censored data and explicit expression of    derived for uncensored data. The UMVU estimator of pdf with exact variance and illustrative example discuss for two Exponential and Uniform distribution. The UMVU estimator of reliability funcational, P[X≥Y]also studied.

  Outlier Problem

In presence  of outlier the problem of   finding    for doubly type   Censored   data of two two-truncation, two one-truncation parameter families of distributions.
