The Department has organized seminars/conferences on the crystal growth and characterization, experimental condensed matter physics, condensed matter theory, atom & molecules, particle physics etc. For the benefit of physics teachers, the Department has organized many refresher courses in physics.

 Successful events:-

Ø  During January 2008 we organized Topical Conference on Atomic and Molecular physics (TC-2008), which was a successful national event with international participation.

Ø  ‘Golden Jubilee Seminar in Physics’ was organized on January 20, 2009 with an enthusiastic participation from present as well as past students of M. Sc., M. Phil. and Ph. D.  It was a happy occasion to meet our past students doing us proud.
