The Department has organized seminars/conferences on the crystal growth and characterization, experimental condensed matter physics, condensed matter theory, atom & molecules, particle physics etc..

For the benefit of physics teachers, the Department has organized many refresher courses in physics.

During January 2008 we organized Topical Conference on Atomic and Molecular physics (TC-2008), which was a successful national event with international participation.
