VSAT from ERNET, INDIA provides Internet connectivity. This facility has been provided to all the departments of Sardar Patel University through Optical Fiber lines.

Library facility :

The departmental library has a large collection of latest books on programming tools and methodologies, database management, computer graphics, office automation, decision support systems, artificial intelligence, computer architecture, software engineering, data communication and manuals for different packages. Total number of books is around 3000. It also subscribes to almost all popular computer magazines. The department is also linked with the centralized library. In addition, it receives abstracts of nearly 800 journals in the form of current contents on floppies, weekly.

Others :

A well equipped air conditioned "Smt Shardaben Ipcowala Santram auditorium" with a capacity of 130 seats is available for academic activities like seminars, functions, workshops, lecture series etc. The auditorium has been renovated to provide a common facility for the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Electronics.
