Jobs and Placements

We have had an excellent track record in this area so far. We have had 100% before 1991, but this was never less than 70% between 1991 and 1997. Although a statewide ban on new recruitments since 1997 showed its effect on placements, our students have found employment between then and now, even if it were on ad hoc basis. We take legitimate pride in the fact that our students have found place in the Gujarat Civil Services occupying senior positions, senior teaching positions in this University as well as the other universities in the State, senior teaching positions in colleges affiliated to the universities in Gujarat and other states of India, and some of them have found their fortunes abroad in countries like France, the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, some countries on the African continent etc.
