Course
Description
The M.Sc. (Electronic Science) program lays a
heavy emphasis on the frontier fields of Electronics with a prudent mixing of Science and
Engineering oriented subjects as desired by the UGC and DoE. The students are
exposed to the state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation during their laboratory
sessions and project works. During their Industrial interaction / training, the students
are familiarized with the prevailing levels of the Science and Technological aspects of
Electronics. This is expected to enable the students to become potential candidates for
employment in Industrial organizations too apart from the Academic and Research Centers.
The syllabus is being regularly updated and upgraded, keeping in mind the local as well as
National needs and demands.
The students are exposed to a cafeteria style
of syllabus structure at the III and IV semesters. They can choose a combination of
elective papers to meet the changing demands of the society.
