Washington Irving has rightly said that well-matured and well-disciplined talent is always sure of a market. Many many thanks to this department for taking tender care and sincere efforts to serve the society with able and efficient faculties. I am sure, with an availability of being a perfect blend of sufficient infrastructure and knowledgeable faculties, it truly imparts education to us in the best possible way. Though, it is well-equipped with essential facilities, yet I would suggest of making gymkhana library richer and to be well – managed by providing us better education by of MBA equivalent syllabus, it would be better to put more stress on practical training and learning through case studies. I will always remember this department as a true place of learning. I feel that the seminar system helped us to remove the stage fear and lack of confidence in oneself but CSDS system, if yet improvised, can still greatly contribute in making us a perfect post – graduate. I highly appreciate launch of students’ chapter of CMA to create self-managed personality. Learning and enjoying life simultaneously were the most memorable dimensions of this department that I would never forget in my life. I personally, owe a lot to this department for inculcating in me the most needed qualities in life and giving final touch to my overall personality. I will remain indebted to this institution forever for all that it has spared for me.

“One should be, what one can be”
The important lesson I have learnt from PG Department of Business Studies is a Perfect platform for the students in carving out their careers. General Secretary of the students Gymkhana Committee, I had come across so many incidents which have taught me important aspects in my life. Being the As far as this department is concerned, it was not only classroom learning, but every minute I spent here is a part of cherishable memories for me. There are so many outstanding features which will remain special forever ranging from prayer system to self–managed students activities. Entering this department for the first time as fresh graduates and leaving it as a post-graduate student marks an eye-catching differences among us, and I am not an exception. The department still need to cultivate rigorous professional and progressive approach. I heartily appreciate the initiative of setting up of an Alumni Association of the students. Today, witnessing the real corporate world as an executive, I feel that the department should pursue intensive initiatives for providing industrial exposure to us through industrial visits and campus interviews. The tireless efforts and devotion of the faculties in building the good moral character of ourselves is note worthy. The department truly justifies the quotation by Sardar Patel, “Building good moral character is true education”. |

“To keep the lamp of the knowledge burning we have to keep pouring oil into it”. Mother Teresa.
It gives me immense pleasure to share my experiences with the department where I earned my master degree during the year 2001-2003. Department was not much in light till 90s. But then after with the increasing desire for higher education and demand for good quality of graduates in different fields, department also has adopted change in all respect. Previous year offered common subjects to all students. Whereas, final year offered four specialize branches in four major areas.
I opted to pursue my masters with specialization in Marketing Management. I realized the importance of master degree during my final year of M.Com. I came across different experienced and well-regarded faculties in the department and was in their association for two academic years. Few of them really impressed me through their virtue of experiences but one of them successfully inculcated values suitable to a post-graduate student. Learning marketing management was a great experience in association with Dr. Parimal Vyas. He is the most creative person in the department. The way he taught me, the way he involved me in various activities tactfully, and his passion & dedication for academic development have impressed me the most.
Additional academic activities such as classroom presentations, guest lectures and seminars have provided opportunities to broaden my frontiers of knowledge and improved amount of interpersonal skills. I also voluntarily was presented at an international seminar held in Delhi. It was my first exposure to an international seminar, which I attended with Dr. Parimal Vyas. To describe it in brief, I met highly qualified academicians came across the country. Where I noticed many helpful processes and practices required to set an international educational norms and to be a professional academician rather successful academician.
A brief tour of compulsory marketing research taught me reality of research. Again credit goes to Dr. Parimal Vyas I learnt the importance of research in general and in marketing, research methodology, application of statistical tools & its analysis and many more things related to research. A small but memorable experience of marketing research exercise showed a preview of higher end education including M. Phil. & Ph. D.
