MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES
At present, the department is housed on the ground floor of the Mathematics/ Commerce building adjacent to the University Main Office.
It has seven spacious classrooms, each having a capacity to accommodate seventy students, a large Conference-cum-Seminar hall and well-equipped Audio-Visual workshop as well as separate boys and girl’s common rooms with separate sanitary facilities. Besides this separate cabins have been allotted to the faculty members. Personal Computers are provided to each faculty members and non-teaching staff also avail this facility.
A small computer laboratory has been setup with computer system, Dotmatrix printer, Laser Printer with an Internet connection.
The department is well-equipped with viz., computers and printers; a Gestetner duplicating machine; TV and VCR; overhead projectors; Ahuja Amplifier and Microphone as well as Record Player and Perforated Board with Stands.
Departmental Library
The department maintains its own gymkhana library and subscribe to a good number of books. The departmental library owns 2024 plus Books and subscription to more than 15 Journals as well as Gujarati and English daily newspapers and a business newspaper, apart from receiving of free copies of few International journals.
