Junior Research Fellow


Applications are invited on plain paper for the posts of JRF in the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi sponsored Research Project as mentioned below.

 

Molecular assessment of bacterial community structure of long term polluted sea coast near Alang ship breaking yard and exploitation of bacterial wealth for PAH Bioremediation

 

ELIGIBILITY:

M.Sc. Ist Class or higher IInd Class in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Environmental Science with consistent good academic record. Junior Research Fellow will get a fixed amount of Rs. 16,000/- per month + HRA for NET qualified candidate or Rs. 12,000/- per month + HRA for LS qualified candidate.

 

JRF Post is purely on temporary basis for a period of 3 years or till the completion of project. Applications stating date of birth, qualifications, experience and postal address with respective certificates should reach to undersigned on or before October 04, 2010.  Open Interview will be held on Thursday, October 07, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. in the             BRD School of Biosciences, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar.

 

Candidates appearing for interview should bring all original certificates (including statement of marks) in support of his/her qualifications.

JRF may be allowed to register for Ph.D degree. Preference will be given to NET-Qualified candidates.

Candidates will have to appear for the interview at his/her own cost.
