The Department has recently, in 2007-08 completed 25 years of its establishment. In celebration year series of programme has been organized including National Conference on “Libraries in 21st Century”, Release of Departments’ Brochure, Publication of Book of Conference Proceedings, Cultural Events and alike.

We have observed and eventide many activity like- Yoga Shibir, Spoken English Course, Study Tour, Debate and Competitions, Cultural Activities.

SEMINARS

We are regularly organizes seminars on the various theme. Till date department has organized 07 number of state and National level seminars and conference. Some important seminars are as under:

REFRESHER COURSE

DLIS has organized Two Refresher Courses so far, for the practicing Librarians to meet their CAS requirements in the year 2004 and 2005.
